It is the year 3000 on the planet earth and a massive war is ravaging the landscape. Many species are on the brink of extinction, especially the race of humans. The existance of earth itself lays on the thin line between evolution and genocide. How did our beloved planet arrive at such a catastrophey? There where many events that played there role in this, some being more important than others.
Year 2234
Beings from other worlds finally reveal themselves to us. They exchange vast amounts of knowledge with us and begin to live amoung us. Our knowledge of technology has increased ten-fold
Year 2308
Scientist have succeded in producing a time portal. This one happened to be to the midevil times. When a team of scientist ventured through the portal, what they saw changed the course of what how history was though to have happened. They saw strange creatures roaming the landscape, some slightly resembling humans. They even saw real magic at its use, but there was a peace amoung the land. By now aliens have become a normal part of society and there is a large amount of peace through out our planet.
Year 2397
Humans use of resources has become catastrophic. while scientist find a way to produce more resaources, the planet dwindles. Nature finally takes on new life as it rises up in retaliation against the humans. Plants take on a hostile look and animals become even more fierce.
Year 2468
Scientist have produced a portal leading to an alternate dimensipn. A team of 10 went in, 1 came out a day later. He described the land as divided, one half made of light and other half engulfed in shadow. He told of a constant war between beings made of light and beings of shadow, each using abilities like they have never seen.
Year 2523
Mutants have began to be born, seemingly normal humans with strange abilities. Nature is still against the humans and the mutants have sided with nature. There was a massive technical malfunction thought to be caused by the mutants. All time portals and dimensional rifts have become permanent rifts between our world and the ones they lead to. No one has ventured through yet and nothing has come out.
Year 2604
Over the years, beings have come out of the portal and into our world. So far, we have been able to stop most. It was this year that it seemed that our world had begun merging with the worlds the rifts lead to, each merge originating from the rifts. Most of the human world is still intact, though the amount of deaths is at an all time high.
Year 2750
Countries have declared a global crisis. As the merge continues, strange beings invade our landscape. Humans have begun to collect together in cities with stronge barriers. Mutants, nature, the strange creatures, and all magic has been seperated from the human and alien technology.
Year 2865
The merge is complete, our world is no longer what it was before. Midevil magic and creatures have invaded some parts of the land while the war between light and dark has flowed into other parts. Most creatures and humans have been able to keep themselves away from this war, and there is a state of solitude and seperation through out most of the world. It wont last for long.
Year 2925
The war has finally spread. All creatures have been engulfed into the war and all are choosing sides between light and dark. The human cities have become a refuge with there forcefields and large defense systems while midevil, magical cities have there own sort of protection. No major battle has happened has of yet, but anytime someone from one side meets someone from another side, they fight to the death.
Year 3000 (present)
The war has been going on for 75 years. The new generation was born into the war, being trained from birth in their given skills. As they developed into adulthood, this new generation of fighters could do things as never seen before. There war itself has settled into a false state of peace in some areas while in others it has only become more bloody. Many races have allied with others and it wont be long till 2 major sides are permanently developed.
